James E. and Ruth C. Stacy of Mayville, N.Y. celebrate their 62nd wedding anniversary on June 24, 2012.
Stacy and the former Ruth C. Smith were married June 24, 1950, in Pennington, N.Y
Stacy retired as an Army major, serving in Europe during World War II. He had been employed by Nestle Co. as a territory manager and as a supervisor for Employment Services in New Jersey. He is an elder at Westfield Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Stacy is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors, and was Outstanding Practitioner of the Year in counseling.
