BUSTI -Autograph & Sponsor Night is on tap Saturday at Stateline Speedway.
All of the race cars, crews and drivers will be brought onto the Speedway then everyone from the grandstands will be invited onto the track for the meet and greet. Several cars will have giveaways ranging from balloons to candy.
Rich Gardner extended his Super Late Model point lead last Saturday, notching his first win of the season, the 19th of his Stateline career and is now eighth on the all time win list. Gardner was the 2008 Super Late champion. Doug Eck is second followed by Greg Oakes, 2011 Champ Dutch Davies and 2009 Champ Chad Valone.
Last week's Crate Late point leader Max Blair was a no-show last Saturday and Damian Bidwell was on hand to take advantage. Bidwell won his qualifying event and the feature to take over the points lead. Bob Dorman is second with Blair third.
Chris Ottaway heads the Limited Late Class even though he has not visited victory lane this season. Steve Kania is second, Ryan Scott third and last week's Limited Late Special winner Erie PA's Dustin Eckman fourth.
Scott Gurdak moved up to fourth in the E-Mod standing with his first win of the season last week. Butch Southwell remained the leader followed by Justin Carlson, Chuck Frye and Gurdak. After five races there is still no repeat winners in the division.
Dan Nocero Jr. made his fourth visit to Super Sportsman victory lane extending his point lead to over 100 points. Ben Burgess Jr. is second.
Chris Withers made it six in a row last Saturday as he dominated the Street Stock division. Brian Crandall is second 222 points behind.
Josh Beckstrom became the third double feature Super Challenger winner last Saturday and leads Chad Bender in the standings.
The first Kart point races will happen Saturday morning at the new Stateline Kart track. Details are at www.stateline-speedway/Karts.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m., pits at 4 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.
