Jamestown police have charged a Buffalo man with possession of crack cocaine.
Vincent D. Carper, 33, of Buffalo was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. According to a police report, drug investigators from the Jamestown Police Department were assisted by agents from the Department of Homeland Security finding a man who was wanted for an outstanding felony drug warrant.
Investigators converged on 38 Sampson Street and found Carper in the lower apartment at the address. Police report Carper was found to be in possession of a quarter of an ounce of crack cocaine at the time of his arrest and was additionally charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
