Reward Offered For Information On Excavator Thief

Police are searching for the suspect or suspects responsible for stealing an excavator from the Z&M John Deere Dealership in Clymer.

On Monday, a John Deere 35D excavator was dropped off in the rear of the Z&M Dealership in Clymer. Over that night between Monday and Tuesday, an unknown subject or subjects removed the excavator from the dealership. The excavator did not have any keys in it. It is valued at $38,000.

The person(s) who removed the machine is expected to have access to heavy equipment and a trailer. The excavator is yellow and black in color. The Sheriff's Office is looking for anyone with information regarding the location of the suspects or the excavator. Anyone with information is asked to call 753-4925 or 800-78-CRIME (800-782-7463). Any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) involved may be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward.
