JAMESTOWN POLICE
A 16-year-old male and Darrell L. Smith, 28, of Jamestown were both charged with obstructing governmental administration at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday. According to a police report, officers were dispatched to 916 N. Main St. for a disorderly subject attempting to kick in the back door. As officers arrived on scene, two male subjects attempted to flee the scene on foot. A short foot pursuit followed and the above subjects were taken into custody and charged. They were transported to the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment. The 16-year-old male also had an outstanding arrest warrant out of the Jamestown Police Department.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE
LAKEWOOD - Michael J. Golden, 21, of Lakewood was charged with third-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief at 3 a.m. Tuesday. According to a police report, Golden was involved in a domestic incident with a female in which he bit her on the arm, breaking skin. He also allegedly broke a cell phone that he had given to her. He will appear in court at a later date.
WESTFIELD POLICE
WESTFIELD - Carrie C. McCausland, 33, of Westfield was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane and failure to keep right at 12:35 a.m. on June 13. According to a police report, an officer observed a westbound vehicle cross the center yellow lines of the roadway and white fog line multiple times. Upon further investigation, McCausland was found to be operating the vehicle and was allegedly intoxicated. She was released with appearance tickets and will be in court at a later date.
WESTFIELD - Jeffery L. Duttry, 44, of North East, Pa., was taken into custody on a warrant issued by the Ellicott Police Department. According to a police report, a motorcycle was stopped for an alleged traffic violation. During the investigation it was found that Duttry was the operator and he had an active arrest warrant. He was taken into custody and handed over to the Ellicott Police.
WESTFIELD - Tyler S. Bowen, 20, of Mayville was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and controlled substance outside of the original container at 1:47 a.m. Saturday. According to a police report, officers observed suspicious activity involving three subjects on the sidewalk of East Main Street. Upon speaking with subjects, Bowen was found to be in possession of marijuana and a controlled substance. He was arraigned and bail was set at $1,500 cash and $3,000 property.
WESTFIELD - Tara Boltz, 33, of Mayville was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument at 5:04 p.m. Saturday. According to a police report, officers were dispatched to Academy Street for a narcotics investigation. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Boltz, who was allegedly found to be in possession of hypodermic needles and a small amount of cocaine. She was arraigned and bail was set at $500 cash and $1,000 property.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
HANOVER - Kyle M. Lang, 23, of Cheektowaga was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign, driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .18 percent or higher at 6:10 p.m. Monday. Lang was taken into custody and later released on tickets to appear in court at a later date.
STOCKTON - Daniel Clever, 18, of Stockton was charged with speed not reasonable and prudent at 5:55 p.m. Monday. According to a police report, deputies observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed approach a small bridge with an elevated bump in the roadway. The vehicle then went airborne and the driver lost control of the vehicle, crossing the center of the road into the opposite lane of travel and crashing into a ditch. Deputies were able to pull the operator, who was identified as Clever, from the overturned vehicle. He was not injured in the accident and no medical attention was needed. Clever was issued a uniform traffic ticket for the incident and will appear in court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
EAST OTTO - Roseann K. Loomis, 32, of East Otto was charged charged with fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing at 1:21 p.m. Monday. According to a police report, Loomis is accused of not informing the Cattaraugus County DSS that she started babysitting and receiving wages from November 2010 to February 2011. She received $1,380 in cash assistance to which she was not entitled. She will be in court at a later date.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
FRENCH CREEK - Leslie Kopta, 38, of Clymer was charged with second-degree harassment at 9 p.m. Monday. She was arraigned and cash bail was set at $300.
PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE
TIDIOUTE - Ronald Hannah, 46, of Tidioute and Ty Hillard, 24, of Titusville were both charged with harassment at 3:15 p.m. Sunday. According to a police report, the above subjects were engaged in a verbal altercation which turned physical. Both of the subjects subjected each other to physical contact by striking each other with closed fists. Only minor injuries resulted from the altercation.
