The Downtown Jamestown Development Corporation and the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce will begin the Riverwalk Concert Series from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 28.
The series will also include concerts from 7 to 9 p.m. July 12, July 26 and Aug. 9. Each concert will be held at the Riverwalk in Brooklyn Square, adjacent to the JAMA Riverwalk Center.
Opening the season is Star Sirch Production with karaoke. Everyone is welcome to come and showcase their talent.
The lineup for the rest of the season is: July 12 - Kokomo Time Band, July 26 - Jack Rabbit Slim, and Aug. 9 - Star Sirch Production with karaoke.
The goal of the series is to begin developing the Chadakoin River front as an attractive destination. The concert series is designed to bring new visitors to the riverwalk. There are seven community-based bands scheduled, ranging in genres.
The concert series is free to the public and the community is welcome to attend.
