Volunteers from Walthall County, Mississippi, will host a special day camp from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 25-29 at Falconer Park.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. Monday, June 25. There will be several activities including Christ-centered storytellings, crafts, music, recreation and refreshments. Each day will end with a magic show by Airhead Perry the balloon man.
There is no cost to attend, but each child has to register. A release form is required for children to attend. Anyone attending should bring their children to Falconer Park. Parents are welcome to stay and participate.

Another group of volunteers from Marian County, Mississippi, will host a free day camp series called Amazing Wonders of Aviation from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 25-29 at Chadakoin Park in Jamestown. The camp is for children in first grade and up. There will be crafts, recreation, Bible stories and snacks. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Monday.
A third group from Lawrence County, Mississippi, will host a free basketball camp for children in first grade and up from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at Bergman Park. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. Monday. Scott Johnson, head coach of the Topeka-Tilton Lions, will lead the camp. He has worked with young people for more than 20 years and will work with youth on the fundamentals of dribbling, shooting and passing skills. During the camp's awards ceremony, the group will give out 100 free basketballs?
Awards ceremonies for all the camps will be held Friday at Martin Road Christian Fellowship and a Southern fish fry free to all beginning at 6 p.m.
