13-15 EAST LAKE BABE RUTH

Merle Wheeler scattered three hits and fanned eight to lead South Dayton past the Falconer Firemen, 7-4.

Nick Jackson went 2 for 3 with a double while Zack Sticek, Russell Hayes and Dylan Granger each delivered singles in the victory.

For Falconer, Calvin Nowicki, Mike Earl and Brett Payne had a hit apiece.

Jonah Tanner and Andrew Hvizdak combined for six strikeouts, and allowed just two hits, when the Bemus Point VFW toppled 84 Lumber, 12-2.

Cass Howard had two hits, including a triple, and Tanner had two hits, including a double, for the winners.

Drew and Seth Beckerink had a single apiece to account for 84 Lumber's lone hits.

Koby Carder had three hits, Matt Overend and Bryan Gardner two apiece, Mitch Carter smacked a double and Stuart Tool and Die handled Stockton, 15-1.

Carder was the winning pitcher after striking out five and allowing four hits.

Tyler Simpson led Stockton with two hits.

SO. TIER BABE RUTH SOFTBALL

Neil's Propane Panama defeated Pizza Hut Jamestown 2, 17-9, in Rookies League action as Hialeah Johnson had four hits and Lilly Odell three.

Mandy Brink was the defensive player of the game for Neil's Propane.

Lauren Carson connected for a double and two singles, Kylie O'Brian had four hits and Kayla Krzanak was the defensive standout for Pizza Hut.

In another Rookies League game, Four Season's Nursery and Garden Center Falconer topped Tops Randolph, 13-8.

Kamryn Harper led the way wit four hits and three runs scored, Macy Youngberg was the all-around player of the game and Madison Pitts the defensive player of the game.

Harper Smith was the all-around standout for Randolph while Paige Blancflor was the defensive standout and Ella Martonis the offensive star.

Olivia Anderson smacked three hits, including a double, and Megan Snider chipped in with two more as Mayville Tremaine Insurance Chautauqua Lake beat Randolph Auto Supply, 13-6, in a Minors League game.

Grace Burkowski was the defensive player of the game for the victors.

For Randolph, Ella Conley and Valerie Crouse were selected as co-offensive players of the game and MacKenzie Grice was the defensive player of the game.

Denny's Plumbing and Heating Chautauqua Lake bested Southern Tier Trailers Randolph, 14-4, in a Majors League game.

Kendra Keyser recorded four hits, Katie Fardink two (double) and Allie Cummings drilled a home run for Denny's Plumbing.

Kelly Andrews was named the offensive player of the game and MacKenzie Bentley the defensive player of the game for Southern Tier Trailers.

Bemus Point Custom Cabinetry and Lakewood battled to an 18-18 tie.

For Bemus Point, Hannah Tarbrake and Courtney Martin each drilled four hits while Erin Nolen was the defensive star.

Sophia Genareo led Lakewood with four hits and Erin Keppel produced three hits and was named as the defensive player of the game.

FALCONER COACH PITCH

The Harley-Davidson Orioles capped their season with a 10-8 victory over the 3C's Catering Cubs.

Outstanding players for the Orioles were Luke Vandevelde, Hunter Caldwell and Jase Smith.

For the Cubs, Xander Austin, Evan Newman and Hannah Cross each went 3 for 3 with an RBI.

CITY SLO-PITCH

A-Bat picked up a pair of victories, beginning with a 12-2 win over JEA.

Bill Lawson slammed two home runs and added a single to lead the winners, followed by Ryan Adams, Doug Trapani and Ryan Anderson, who all homered and singled and Elliott Deleon and Wilson Sanchez both had two hits.

A-Bat also routed Professional Finishing, 11-1, thanks to a pair of home runs by Steve Trapani, Bill Lawson doubled and singled, Ryan Anderson hit another homer and Ryan Adams, Ryan Cunningham and Elliott Deleon all added two hits. David Saxton was the winning pitcher in both games, surrendering 11 hits.

Glen Dickerson had two hits for Professional Finishing.

Mike Smith connected for four hits, including a home run, as Professional Finishing rolled to a 21-6 win over Latino's.

Jon Youngberg, Jason Youngberg and Joe Lombardo all slammed a home run with two singles and Tom Lombardo contributed three hits.

In their second game, Professional Finishing outslugged Team Tony, 16-10, with Jon Youngberg producing a pair of doubles and two singles and Travis Dickerson and Jake Berg each delivered three hits.

For Team Tony, Scott Stone had two hits.

Waddington Tavern beat Game Time 2, 20-5.

Drew Carlson collected a home run and two singles for the winners while Will Griffith had home run, two doubles and a single; and Howie McIntyre had a home run and two doubles.

For Game Time 2, Scott Goold had a home run.

Waddington Tavern also defeated New Beginnings, 15-1.

Griffith had a double and two singles, Carlson had triple and a home run, and John Robbins had two doubles and two singles.
