Antonia Panzica

Antonia Panzica, 71, of 534 Winsor St., died Sunday June 17, 2012, in her home.

Coming to this country in 1958, she was born Aug. 18, 1940, in Vieste, Italy, a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Michelina Chionchio Rado.

She attended school in Italy and completed cosmetology training in both Ita-ly and the United States.

She was a self-employed beautician working out of her home.

She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and was a member of the Marco Polo Club Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, Giusseppe Panzica, whom she married Feb. 4, 1967; two sisters: Maria Montecalvo of Phoenix, Ariz., and Josephine An-dalora of Jamestown; several nieces and nephews: including Gina Healy, Lina Montecalvo, Lorena Kayati, Nico Montecalvo and Vincent Mon-tecalvo and was especially close to nieces: Mary Jo Dix and Danielle Andalora and nephew, Rudi Andalora.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers-in-law: Mario Montecalvo and Joseph Andalora.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy will be celebrant.

Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednes-day in the Lind Funeral Home, where a Christian Wake Service will be led at 5:45 p.m.
