Grace DiStefano Peterson, 90, of 61 E. Cowden Place, Jamestown, died at 12:01 p.m. Sunday (June 17, 2012), at her residence.
She was born in James-town, on April 30, 1922, the daughter of Natale and Sebastiana Rosella Di- Stefano.
Grace was a 1940 gradu-ate of Jamestown High School, and was employed as a teller at the former Ma-rine Midland Bank for 37 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the American Legion Henry Mosher Post 638 Auxiliary and the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club Auxiliary.

She is survived by two brothers: Natale "Nate" DiStefano, Jamestown, and Sebastian DiStefano, Gau-tier, Miss.; and two sisters: Carmela Ditonto and Josephine Zembardo, Jamestown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger E. Peterson, whom she married on Oct. 12, 1974, and who died on June 17, 2011; and by a brother, Frank DiStefano.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednes-day in the Hubert Funeral Home And Cremation Ser-vices. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor of St. James Catholic Church, will offi-ciate.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Friends will be received today from 3 to 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
