Jamestown Police officials confirmed that a 43-year-old man was struck and killed by a car just outside of Chadakoin Park late Monday evening. A portion of Washington Street between 12th and 14th streets in Jamestown was closed just after 9:30 p.m. and remained closed late into the evening as investigators worked on the scene.
