JAMESTOWN POLICE
Robert R. Wilson, 33, of Jamestown was charged with criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to a police report, officers responded to the upper apartment at 248 Broadhead Ave. to help another agency. Police report finding a bag with two hypodermic needles belonging to Wilson. He was taken to the Jamestown City Jail awaiting arraignment.
Tina D. Drayton, 40, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and no/inadequate headlights at 2:30 a.m. Sunday. According to a police report, officers saw a black SUV driving on North Main Street with one headlight out. Officers pulled the vehicle over. Ms. Drayton was charged and will be in court later.
ELLICOTT POLICE
Two sixteen-year-old girls were charged with second-degree harassment Tuesday. According to a police report, officers responded to a fight on West Duquense Street in Celoron after the girls allegedly attacked a woman in her yard after arguing over a prior disagreement. They will be in court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
HANOVER - Nicholas Canaski, 28, of Orchard Park was charged with open container of alcoholic beverage at 6:20 p.m. June 11. He will be in court later.
HANOVER - Mark Menclewicz, 47, of Orchard Park was charged with third-degree burglary on a county probation warrant and Mikol Rockwood, 22, of Irving was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlicensed operator at 7:58 p.m. June 10. Menclewicz was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail and Rockwood will be in court later.
MAYVILLE - Lance I. Clark, 27, of Jamestown, John W. Harper, 23, of Jamestown, Luis Montanez, 34, of Buffalo, and David Deynes, 30 of Buffalo were all charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 9 p.m. June 11. According to a police report, during a routine search of one of the housing units in the Chautauqua County Jail, deputies found a large amount of destroyed Westlaw Legal Reference materials that were the property of the Chautauqua County Jail. The men will be in court later.
GERRY - Steven Ables, 23, of Walhalla, S.C., was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and failure to keep right at 10:44 p.m. Wednesday. Ables will be in court later.
HARMONY - A 16-year-old male from Ashville was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. According to a police report, the youth was found in possession of a stolen Apple iPod from Panama Central School. He will be in court later.
ELLERY - John B. Rasmussen, 29, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, having a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and parking on the highway at 2:45 a.m. Sunday. According to a police report, deputies saw a vehicle stopped on the shoulder of the road, partially in the travel lane. The vehicle did not have its headlights on. As the patrol car approached the vehicle, the vehicle drove off but was pulled over a short time later. Rasmussen will be in court later.
HANOVER - Courtney E. Cassiano, 23, of West Seneca was charged with speeding and possession of marijuana at 1:45 a.m. Sunday. She will be in court later.
HANOVER - Joseph W. Zipp, 21, of Forestville was charged with parking on pavement, driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated per se with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or higher at 2:51 a.m. Sunday. According to a police report, deputies stopped to check on a vehicle with its four way flashers on and found Zipp was intoxicated while behind the wheel of the vehicle. He will be in court later.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
SALAMANCA - Daniel R. Gleason, 23, of Portville was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content of more than .08 percent and stopping on a public highway at 2:54 a.m. June 10. He will be in court later.
CATTARAUGUS - Jordan K. Fish, 21, of Jamestown was charged with violation of probation at 6:45 p.m. Thursday. He was taken to the Cattaraugus County Jail awaiting arraignment.
DAYTON - Andrew C. Knopf, 23, of Dayton was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 5:30 p.m. June 9. The charges stemmed from an incident that took place on Allen Street in Dayton shortly before 3 a.m. June 9. He was taken to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $500 bail and will be in court later.
SALAMANCA - Emilio Velasquez, 43, of Salamanca was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content of more than .18 percent, failure to keep right and unlicensed operation at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday. He will be in court later.
SALAMANCA - Watson M. Cooper, 19, of Salamanca was charged with violation of probation at 10:30 p.m. Thursday. He was taken to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bail. Cooper will be in court later.
SOUTH DAYTON - MIchael J. Hill, 21, of Ashville was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 10 p.m. June 9. According to a police report, Hill was found with a small quantity of marijuana on Mill Street in South Dayton. He will be in court later. At the same location, a 16-year-old youth was also issued an appearance ticket for possession of alcohol under the age of 21 and will be in court later.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
ELLERY - Krista L. France, 43, of Fredonia was charged with second-degree criminal contempt at 3:58 p.m. Saturday. France was issued an appearance ticket for the charge and will be in court at a later date.
NORTH HARMONY - Jordan L. Becker, 21, of Fort Sill, Okla. was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 percent and driving while intoxicated at 1:01 a.m. Sunday. Becker was processed and released to a third party. He will be in court at a later date to answer the charges.
