Library Board To Meet Thursday

The Prendergast Library Board of Trustees will meet at 12:15 p.m. Thursday in the Fireplace Room of Prendergast Library, 509 Cherry St., Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.

IDA?Board To Meet Wednesday

The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency board will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the 200 Harrison St., Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.

N. Harmony Seniors Meeting Is Today

NORTH HARMONY - The regular meeting of the North Harmony seniors will be at 6 p.m. today. The group will hold its annual spaghetti dinner. The guest speaker will be Jim Roselle.

CVCS Class To Host 25th Reunion

CASSADAGA - The Cassadaga Valley Central School Class of 1987's 25th reunion will be held Saturday, June 30. Organizers are looking for classmates for whom they had no contact information. For those classmates who did not receive reunion information, contact Judy Morley Porpiglia at 673-5088 for more information.

Panama School Board To Meet

PANAMA - The Panama Central School Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. today in the board room. The meeting is open to the public.

Carroll Historical Society To Meet

FREWSBURG - The Carroll Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. today for its monthly meeting. The speaker will be Tom Erlandson speaking about the 1749 expedition of Bienville de Celoron from Montreal passing through the area into the Ohio Valley. The public is invited to attend. The society is located behind the Carroll Town Hall, Main Street, Frewsburg.

Health Dept. Sets Rabies Vaccinations

The Chautauqua County Health Department is holding two upcoming rabies immunization clinics. The first will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Ellicott Highway Garage on East Mosher Street, Falconer, with veterinarian Dr. Mary Fales. The second will be Thursday, Aug. 16, at the Ellington Highway Garage, Route 62, Ellington. Dr. Fales will again be present.

BPU?To Host Blood Drive Thursday

The public is invited to donate blood at the Jamestown Board of Public Utilities Community Blood Bank Blood Drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the BPU Education Room, 92 Steele St. Employee volunteers will provide lunch for blood donors. Donors may access the BPU Bloodmobile by entering the "D" driveway at 92 Steele St. to the BPU parking lot. Facing the building from the parking lot, one should enter the Visitor Entrance, the right door under the green awning beside the BPU Customer Service, sign in and take the elevator to the first floor. Donors must be at least 17 years old, in good health and will need a form of ID such as a blood donor card or driver's license. Walk-ins are welcome. To arrange an advance appointment, call Becky Robbins, BPU communications coordinator, at 661-1666.
