CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
KIANTONE - Rebecca L. Wheeler, 22, of Falconer was charged with driving while intoxicated, blood-alcohol content greater than .08 percent and parking on the highway Saturday at 2:18 a.m. Sheriff's patrol received calls from two concerned motorists about a vehicle parked in the intersection of Peck Settlement Road and Route 60 with its headlights off. Deputies arrived and found Wheeler asleep in the driver's seat. The vehicle was in park and shut off. Following an investigation after Wheeler was awoken, she was charged with DWI. Wheeler will answer to charges in Town of Kiantone Court at a later date.
MAYVILLE - Kristyn M. Guido, 31, of 168 Arbour Lane, Buffalo, was charged with second-degree promotion of prison contraband at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the Chautauqua County Jail. While being booked on charges of criminal impersonation and theft of services out of the city of Dunkirk, it is alleged that Guido was discovered attempting to smuggle tobacco into the jail. She will appear in Town of Chautauqua Court at a later date.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Heidi S. Waite, 31, of 869 Spring St., Jamestown, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration at 11:35 a.m. Monday. Waite was brought into Jamestown City Jail on a disorderly conduct charge and upon arrival was swearing and using obscene language in public. While in jail, Waite refused to comply with officers' commands and refused to go along with booking procedures. Waite also attempted to kick officers in the face during the process. She was held on bail.
Michael C. Hetrick of Jamestown was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and endangering the welfare of a child at 3:02 p.m. Monday. Officers were dispatched to 114 Wescott St. for a possible domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers located victim and Hetrick inside the home. After separating the two parties, and conducting an investigation, Hetrick was charged. He was taken into custody and transported to city jail without incident.
Michael Johnson, 26, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt, third-degree stalking and second-degree aggravated harassment at 9:30 a.m. on June 10. Officers were dispatched to investigation a domestic violence incident. Johnson allegedly called a female victim on the telephone and threatened her. Johnson has a valid Jamestown Order of Protection to stay away from the victim. Johnson later followed the victim to her place of employment on East Second Street, circled the place of employment and then proceeded to threaten the victim again. Johnson was later found, taken to city jail and held pending arraignment.
Nicole E. Cruz, 25, of Kennedy was charged with failure to keep right and driving while intoxicated at 12:46 a.m. Tuesday. Jamestown police responded to 120 Delaware Ave. for a report of a vehicle in the yard of the church. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle and the operator, Cruz, in the parking lot. The investigation revealed that Cruz had struck the curb on Newland Avenue and lost control of her vehicle resulting in her vehicle ending up in the yard of the church. Cruz was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
Jeffrey Senear, 32, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday. Officers responded to 105 Weeks St. for a possible domestic violence incident. Upon arrival, officers located Senear behind the residence. Senear has a valid order or protection to stay away from a victim's residence. He was taken to city jail pending arraignment.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
BUSTI - Kenneth C. Agnew, 58, of West Fairmount Avenue, Lakewood, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and unlawful possession of marijuana at 8:42 p.m. on June 8. Lakewood-Busti Police were conducting a DWI road check when they stopped Agnew, who was operating his vehicle westbound on Fairmount Avenue. Upon investigation, he was found to be intoxicated and in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. Agnew was taken into custody and later released with appearance tickets for the Town of Busti Court.
WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT
Jessica M. Rumsey, 34, of 57 Union St., Westfield, was charged with four-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault and second-degree menacing on June 11. At 8:40 p.m. on June 9, Westfield police officers responded to 55 Union St. for a person with a weapon. Upon arrival, officers observed Rumsey bleeding heavily from her arm after allegedly puncing through a window. After a further investigation, it was found that Rumsey allegedly stabbed a neighbor with a pair of scissors, punched the neighbor in the face and punched through the front-door window. A warrant was served on June 11 and Rumsey was arraigned in Village of Westfield Court. Bail was set at $1,000 cash/$2,000 property. Rumsey was additionally charged with disorderly conduct for using profane language at Westfield Hospital in the presence of patients and staff. She was issued an appearance ticket for that charge.
Antonio Figueroa, 38, of 7561 East Route 20, Westfield, was charged with second-degree harassment at 10:02 p.m. June 10. Westfield Police responded to Westfield Hospital for a disorderly subject. Upon arrival, officers observed Figueroa in a verbal altercation with another subject in the parking lot. Officers placed Figueroa in custody for allegedly threatening to kill the subject and blow up the sujbect's vehicle. He was arraigned in Village of Westfield Court and bail was set at $500 cash/$1,000 property.
