Safe At Second

Mike Sandbloom went the first six innings to pick up the win and allowed four hits with eight strikeouts and three walks.
Dakota Delaney and Brian Westerdahl had two hits with Delaney ripping a double for the victors.
Thomas Raiport stroked a triple for South Dayton while Rob Tarak, Zach Sticek and Merle Wheeler had the other hits.

Jaquan Watts pounded out a three-run home run and a triple among his three hits as Stockton ATP defeated Falconer 84 Lumber, 21-9, at Falconer Park.
Also with three hits for Stockton were Cody Johnson (triple), Matt Dunderdale (double) and Dustin Lanphere.
Kyle Petersen tripled twice for Falconer.
CITY REC BASEBALL
Jonah Tonkin and Katie Starks each had three hits, including a double, as the Affinity One Blue Jays defeated the Jones Bakery Tigers, 27-6.
Jimmy Nixon had three hits, Calista Kester a double and a single and Taylor Frankiewicz two hits for the winners.
For the Tigers, Daniel Stenstrom and Mikey Euscher each hit a double while Kaylee Stenstrom hit a triple.
FALCONER LITTLE LEAGUE
The Falconer Lions Club edged Ideal Coatings, 12-10.
Jake Peru had three hits with two triples; Gage Lindell, Bryce Baglia and Jake Keith two hits apiece; Nate Seaholm and Garrett Lindahl each had a triple; and Duel Card recorded a double in the win.
Andrew Chaffin had two hits, including a double, and Jarod Anderson a double in defeat.
SO. TIER BABE RUTH
SOFTBALL
Tops Randolph took care of Lyndon Development Falconer, 11-4, in Rookies League action when Miranda Waterman, Allison Burdick, Eme Hickman and Samantha English drilled two hits apiece.
Also for the winners, Kyra Pence and Haleigh Smith were the defensive standouts.
Kayla Jo Lynn and Danielle Krenzer led Lyndon with three hits each, Abbie Campbell was the offensive standout and Emily Melquist the defensive.

Abrianna McCarthy, Sarah Disbro and Courtnee Peterson had two hits each and Cassie Mosher was the defensive player of the game as Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union Falconer beat Electrician's Local 106 Jamestown, 16-8, in the Minors League.
Karleigh Haines, Milaysha Anderson and Breanna Hill collected two hits apiece in defeat.

Stuart Tool and Die Falconer outlasted Gary's Carstar Panama, 29-19, in a Majors League game.
Paige King and Alyssa McCarthy hit roundtrippers and Katie Fales delivered a bases-clearing triple.
For Gary's, Kaci Sikora hit a double and drove in one while Naomi Engstrom had two RBIs.

Kendyl Austin hit a pair of doubles with a home run and four RBIs, Sierra Wells drove in three more and Phillips Karport Southwestern topped Jenn's Lake Service Bemus Point, 10-1.
Riley Farnham was the offensive player of the game in defeat while Allison Johnson was the offensive standout.

Gary's Carstar Panama defeated Tri-James Services Southwestern 2, 23-12.
For Gary's, Laurel Rensel had four hits to go along with four RBIs and Olivia Putnam had a single and an RBI while Kayla Conway and Tara Sweeney were the defensive stars.
Kyla Gunnell led Tri-James offensively and Danielle Greene shined defensively.
CHURCH SOFTBALL LEAGUE
United Churches WNY/Geraci & Co. Accountants remained undefeated on Saturday when they defeated First Covenant, 20-10.
Kurt Silcott led the winners with a pair of doubles to go along with three RBIs while Dan Leake and Garrett Moller each ripped a double with four RBIs. Also chipping in on the victory were Rick Hammond (three RBIs), Tommy Tantillo (double) and winning pitcher John Geraci, who connected for two doubles and three RBIs.
Shaun Hummel led First Covenant with three hits.
