MAYVILLE Virginia B. Sargent, 88, of Maryville, Tenn., formerly of Mayville, died Wednesday (June 13, 2012), at her home in Tennessee.
She is survived by two sons: Gerrold W. Sargent and his wife, Jean, and Jeffrey B. Sargent and his wife, Linda; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Harley J. Barber Jr. of Mayville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren D. Sargent; and her parents, Harley and Ferne Barber Sr.
Burial will be in the Mayville Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Freay Funeral Home, Mayville.
