Wanda H. Tracy, 91, of Ellenton, Fla,, formerly of Falconer, passed away Sun-day (June 10, 2012), in the Tidewell Hospice House, Ellenton, Fla.
She was born April 8, 1921, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Gilbert C. and Pearl Klock Hine.
Wanda attended Falconer High School, and during World War II was employed by MRC. She along with her husband owned and operated Tracy's Perennials Farm in Drybrook from 1961 to 1974, and she was also employed by Falconer Central School from 1975 to 1983.

She was a member of the Henry Mosher Post 638 American Legion Auxiliary for more than 60 years, the Falconer Fire Department Auxiliary and in earlier years was a member of the Falconer PTA. Wanda enjoyed her Friday afternoon card club that met for many years. She also enjoyed her flowers and plants, knitting hats, mittens and newborn hats for newly born babies. She was also known as the "Bread Lady" in Falconer having baked various kinds of breads.
Surviving are her son James L. Tracy and his wife, Lorraine, of Ellenton, Fla.; her niece, Jerrie Gilbert of Falconer; her nephew, Thomas Scarbarough of Falconer; two great nieces: Kara Peterson of Jamestown, and Kristine Samuelson of Falconer; six great-great-nephews: Tony and Nick Migliore, Andrew Sweet, John, Bobby and Brett Samuelson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Winton Tracy, whom she married Aug. 6, 1938, in Falconer, and who died Nov. 9, 1982; two sisters: Iva Lee Scarborough and Genevieve Peterson.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The Rev. Dan Rumfelt will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Falconer.
Friends will be received by the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
