Crystal E. Durnell, 40, of 3329 North Road, Sugar Grove, Pa., passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Corry Memorial Hospital.
Crystal was born in Batesville, Ark., on March 15, 1972, a daughter of Joyce (Anderson) and Junior Ring of Batesville, Ark.
She was a homemaker who excelled in Southern cooking. Crystal enjoyed crafts and designing floral arrangements. She was an avid reader. She loved to color with her son and play board games, especially Monopoly.
She was the wife of David J. Durnell, whom she married Dec. 23, 2000, in Batesville, Ark.
In addition to her husband and parents, Crystal is survived by her son, Brayden C. Durnell at home; brother, Ricky L. Ring of Mountain Home, Ark; father and mother-in-law, Dennis and Debbie Durnell, of Sugar Grove, Pa.; brother-in-law, Danial J. Durnell of Woodbridge, Va. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received at the Sugar Grove Branch of McKinney Funeral Homes, 117 Main St., Sugar Grove on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 16.
Burial will be in the Wesleyan Cemetery, Sugar Grove.
