Joyce Ann Haskell-Beynon, 80, of Green Cove Springs, Fla., passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2012.
She was born on December 1, 1931, to parents Harry and Nada (Haskins) Gray in Rochester, N.Y. Joyce moved to the local area in 1989 from Jamestown, N.Y. She was of the Protestant faith. Mrs. Beynon and her late husband were both members of the V.F.W. and D.A.V. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, quilting and crafting. Joyce loved to be with her family and spending time with all of them. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her late husband of 19 years, Herbert Beynon in 2000 and is survived by her sons; Michael Haskell of Frewsburg, Mark and Amy Haskell of Green Cove, Fla., and Karl Haskell of Jamestown; daughters Janet Haskell of Green Cove, Fla., Cynthia Haskell-Haynes of Jacksonville, Fla. and Kim and Jon Torrey Sr. of Jamestown; sisters Helen Smith, Patricia Lalonde and Joan Pawlowske Sr. (Don); grandchildren Jon Torrey Jr., Paul Cercy, Dakotah Lundgren, Lauren Haskell, Scott Cercy, Michael Haskell and Luke Haskell and great-grandchildren: Kaidyn, Karsen, Maya and Wyatt Lundgren and one on the way.
A memorial service will be held on 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Franklin Street Baptist Church, 2521 Franklin St., Jacksonville, FL 32206 with the Rev. Terry Gore officiating.
