LITTLE VALLEY - Lori Pettit Rieman, Cattaraugus County District Attorney, reported the following activity in the Cattaraugus County Court on Monday, June 11:
Cameron S. Rives, 19, of Jamestown, presently incarcerated in the Cattaraugus County Jail, entered a plea of guilty to the entire indictment which is one count of first-degree robbery, one count of second-degree robbery, one count of first-degree burglary, one county of second-degree burglary, one county of third-degree assault and one count of petit larceny. Bail remains at $150,000 cash or $300,000 bond. He will be sentenced on Aug. 13.
Yvette M. Briggs, 41, of Cattaraugus was sentenced to a conditional discharge for her conviction of fifth-degree welfare fraud and petit larceny. She had made full restitution prior to sentencing.
Brian R. Benson, 24, of Olean was sentenced to 10 years probation and mandatory state surcharges for his conviction of promoting sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child.
James P. Kemp, 20, of Olean entered a plea of guilty to one count of second-degree attempted rape to satisfy a pending indictment. He will be sentenced on Sept. 4.
Terrence Tompson-Myscka, 23, of Olean waived prosecution by indictment and entered a plea of guilty by superior court information which charged him with third-degree attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance. He will be sentenced on Sept. 4.
Rik A. Rinehart, 23, of Salamanca waived prosecution by indictment and entered a plea of guilty by superior court information which charged him with fifth-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance. He will be sentenced on Sept. 4.
Steve L. Wilson, 44, of Franklinville was arraigned and entered a plea of not guilty in connection to an indictment handed up by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury which charged him with second-degree strangulation, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. The matter has been adjourned 45 days for motions.
