Constance H. Spencer, 80, of Falconer, passed away Monday (June 11, 2012), in WCA Hospital.
She was born June 17, 1931 in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of the late Linwood and Irene Bilson Hodge.
Constance was a graduate of Bennett High School, and in earlier years was employed by various furniture factories in Falconer and Jamestown.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Constance also enjoyed reading and traveling with her family.
Surviving are five children: Debra (Robert) Os-borne of Niagara Falls, Darla (Donald) Loucks of Jamestown, Devin (Bonnie) Spencer of Glens Falls, N.Y., Donna Spencer (Mike Calimeri) of Falconer, and Deena (Jack) Saullo of Busti; 12 grandchildren: Robert (Leanne) Frost, Allyn Luce, Matthew Luce, Shannon (Joshua) Higbee), Eric (Deven) Adams, Jason Harle, Dr. Ryan (Dr. Nicole) Spencer, Alicia (Vincent) Schunk, Sara Seastrom, Melissa Wilcox, Jamie Spencer and Christopher Wilcox; 10 great-grandchildren; her sister, Barbara Bradford of Kenmore, N.Y;, her cousin, Carol Warne of Ovid, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl D. Spencer, whom she married Sept. 4, 1949, and who died June 30, 1975; her daughter, Diana L. Harle on April 30, 2006; and a brother, William W. Hodge.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The Rev. Jim Read, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church will officiate. Inurnment will be in Levant Cemetery.
Friends will be received by the family from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
