Answer on helping single mom and with two children in the June 11 edition of The Post-Journal: Try Habitat for Humanity in your local area. Currently I volunteer in the Mayville area on a new house build for a very deserving family which includes a single dad with four children.
The house will be super energy efficient and affordable. Personally, there is no more rewarding way to spend a little extra time and meet great people!
There is a process to be qualified and selection is not guaranteed, however, it never hurts to explore all options. Good Luck.
