LITTLE VALLEY - Lori Pettit Rieman, Cattaraugus County district attorney, reported the following activity in Cattaraugus County Court on Monday, June 4:
Benjamin G. Meyer, 27, of Cattaraugus was arraigned and entered a plea of innocent in connection to an indictment handed up by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury charging him with two counts of second-degree burglary, four counts of grand larceny and five counts of petit larceny. The case was adjourned 45 days for motions.
Luke J. Williamson, 24, of Olean was arraigned and entered a plea of innocent in connection to an indictment handed up by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury charging him with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. The case was adjourned 45 days for motions.
Daniel P. Klein, 22, of Olean, but presently incarcerated in the Cattaraugus County Jail was sentenced as a predicate felon to a term of 1 to three years in the state Department of Corrections for his conviction of third-degree attempted robbery and one year to be served concurrent for his conviction of third-degree assault.
Ronald H. Perskins, 47, of West Valley was arraigned and entered a plea of innocent in connection to an indictment handed up by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury charging him with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated and numerous traffic violations. This matter was adjourned 45 days for motions.
Jeremy M. Foster, 22, of Salamanca was sentenced to one year in the Cattaraugus County Jail for his conviction of resisting arrest.
James E. Allhouse, 44, was arraigned and entered a plea of innocent in connection to an indictment handed up by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury which charging with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child passenger, driving while intoxicated and numerous traffic violations. This matter was adjourned 45 days for motions.
Amy L. Buchanan, 26, of Olean was arraigned and entered a plea of innocent in connection to an indictment handed up by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury which charging with second-degree grand larceny, third-degree welfare fraud and third-degree offering a false instrument for filing. This matter was adjourned 45 days for motions.
Charles J. Faison Jr., 28, of Jamestown entered a plea of guilty to driving while intoxicated to satisfy a pending indictment. He will be sentenced Sept. 24.
Carl N. Bunce, 23, of North Collins entered a plea of guilty to third-degree burglary to satisfy a pending indictment. He will be sentenced Sept. 24.
Angel A. Contreraz, 17, of Salamanca entered a plea of guilty to third-degree burglary to satisfy a pending indictment. He is scheduled for sentencing Aug. 27.
Craig M. Simon, 40, of Olean entered a plea of guilty to an indictment which charging with two counts of driving while intoxicated. He will be sentenced Aug. 27.
Andrew J. Hoffman, 43, of Salamanca, but presently incarcerated in the Cattaraugus County Jail, was found guilty after a four-day jury trial of first-degree reckless endangerment, three counts of second-degree assault, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and driving while ability impaired. The incident occurred on or about Oct. 23, 2011, in Coldspring when Hoffman drove recklessly and caused serious physical injury to three individuals and left the scene. Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 6.
