June 11, 2012
The Post-Journal

On Wednesday beginning at noon, Fenton History Center trustee and local historian Sam Genco will talk about the useful lives of the much-loved Chautauqua Lake steamboats and what happened to them when they were retired.

The talk will feature images, stories and more about the once busy steamboat trade on our local lake.

The lecture will be in the education room of the Fenton History Center, 67 Washington St., just south of the Washington Street Bridge on Route 60. The lecture is free, but donations are welcome.
