Falconer Woman In Need Of A?Helping Hand

To the Readers' Forum:

I was thinking that maybe for a change we could use our local forum to help someone instead of criticizing, attacking and judging. I have a friend who is not on the welfare role; who works hard every day at the job for many years. She puts food on the table, gas in the care, pays her rent, clothes her two children and always puts them first. I need your help in finding an affordable home of their own.

The children, a son, age 15 and a daughter, 11, have grown up in the Falconer School district and want to stay there. They need a small three bedroom home with a yard to mow, a place to plant some flowers or even a tree. She can't help, no bank loan, no family help. She needs a break! I know there is someone out there that can help her, that has a heart and the means to get them into a home, one she so longs for. So please help. Write in and tell her where to go, what to do, find a way. Her spirit is being broken because she tries so hard for her children. She feels she can't have it and can't do it. How is that we build new homes for those who don't work? We pay their bills, give them food and give them cash to get clothes. But someone that takes nothing, gets no help.

I'm standing here in front of her watching her beautiful spirit on the very edge of being broken, hopeless; tears falling without a way to wipe them. So are you the one that could change a life? Three lives? Could you be the one that could put her in a real home? I tell her God has a plan, he will see her through; have faith. He has pointed me to you, our local forum. I know someone can help. Please write in. I trust there is still way more good out there than not.
