To the Readers' Forum:
Once again I have to say how blessed we are to live in Jamestown. The amount of musical talent in this town is amazing.
In January I heard the most amazing choir I had ever heard at the Presbyterian Church and then I had the joy of being a part of the Community Praise Choir Sunday night at Fluvanna Community Church. Plus there are other musical programs that I have not had the joy of hearing.
I came away from Sunday night's cantata, "Sanctuary," totally blessed. Standing in front of those wonderful talented folks is something I will never forget. The beauty of the harmonies as they let the Holy Spirit sing through them made it difficult to direct through the tears.
In 2006 the doctors told me I would never be able to do any kind of ministry ever again because of my heart problems. Here it is 2012 and I have been allowed to direct some of the most spiritual folks I have ever met. How can one put into words how awesome this was; how can one say a proper thank you?
God bless you all and I love ya'll from the bottom of my heart.
