Vincent, Ostrom Win At Soap Box Derby

Chelsey Vincent and Bobbie Jo Ostrom were the winners in the annual Jamestown Area Soap Box Derby at the John S. Sinatra Memorial Soap Box Derby Track on Saturday.

Vincent won the Stock Division for the first time and Ostrom took the Super Stock Division to go with the Stock Division which she won a few years ago.

Both are headed for All-American Soap Box Derby in Akron, Ohio, on July 21.

Vincent was sponsored by the Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union and Ostrom by Ostrom Enterprises.

Garrett Fransen (Heil & Andrews Construction) took second in the Stock Division followed by Kylie Jo Lindahl (Geico), Mike Ostrom (Ostrom Enterprises & Windstream.net), Hunter Freeney (Hoover Oil), Drew Carlson (Robo Enterprises), Sam Kosinski (3 G's, QMS, Heil & Andrews Construction) and Kohl Freeney (Hoover Oil).

Following Ostrom in the Stock Division were Nathan Paterniti (South Hills Country Club), Brea Tota (Acu-Rite), Benji Linkerhof (Hoover Oil), Bronson Rasmussen (Acu-Rite & Bush & Sons), Cameron Lydell, Kaylee Vincent (Hoover Oil) and Ryan Klauson.

There were a total of 29 drivers with 17 in the Stock Division and 12 in the Super Stock Division.
