CITY REC BASEBALL

O'Neill Rosado swatted a triple and a double and Caleb Abbey a double and a single as the Affinity Blue Jays beat the Big Lots Astros, 13-3.

Joshua Tonkin and Jimmy Nixon contributed two hits toward the winning cause.

For the Astros, Tyler Wood doubled and singled and Anthony Wolf singled twice.

McKenzie Senear and Zach Breeding each doubled and singled as the Affinity Blue Jays topped the Cardinals, 7-3.

Rosado belted a double and Tara Mackey had an RBI single for the Blue Jays.

Donovan Francis stroked two hits with a double and Jorge Colon singled in defeat.

Joseph Velasqua hit a three-run home run and single and Alyssa Dean singled three times as B&L Yankees defeated the Shults Rockies, 16-7.

Johnathon Brito had three hits with a double, Ethan Russell and Brett Hunzinger doubled in the win.

For the Rockies, Nolan Butts stroked three hits and Devin Walrod added two hits.

FALCONER LITTLE LEAGUE

Johnny Samuelson had three hits, Grant Cheney two hits with a triple and Bobby Samuelson and Kal Pierce socked home runs when AJ's Genco Machine Shop edged the Falconer Moose, 6-5.

Brock Vicary tripled while Kaden Bianco and Dave Allen delivered doubles in the win.

Tim Wright swatted three hits with a home run and a double while Trent Wood booked a home run and a triple for the Moose.

Falconer Moose defeated Ideal Coatings, 12-4.

Trent Wood had home run, a double and two singles for the winners while Gaving Pavlock had two doubles and a single, Cameron Delzalle had a double and a single, and Colbi Gordon had two singles.

Matt Gullotti and Andrew Chaffin each had a double and a single for Ideal and Trenton Colburn recorded two singles.

7-8 PITCHING MACHINE LEAGUE

Marshall Tantillo, Tyler Giambellucca and Matt Sanfilippo had multiple hits as Pizza Hut edged Forecon, 7-6.

Joey Palermo and Sal Colletti delivered multiple hits for Forecon.

FALCONER TEE BALL LEAGUE

Mylie Zaranek and Reid DiDomenico paced the attack as Whitetail Auto tied Ellington Rod & Gun Club, 7-7.

Gabe Delahoy and Channing Brainard were the standouts for Ellington.

FREWSBURG LITTLE LEAGUE

Trent Gray pitched a two-hitter with 11 strikeouts and two walks as Ahlstrom-Schaeffer downed A Plus Heating, 3-1.

Gray, Reid Bjork and Nick Mole added two hits and Jake Stelmack one in the winning effort.

SOUTHERN TIER BABE RUTH SOFTBALL

Kristina Duffee and Olivia Potter were the offensive standouts and Kira Ricker was selected for defense when CCB America's Promise from Jamestown stopped the Lyndon Equipment Falconer II, 10-2, in the Rookies Division.

Danielle Krenzer and Kayla Linn were the defensive standouts and Emily Melquist the offensive standout for Lyndon's.

Macie Baker and Emma Wirsen stood out offensively and Jaclin Daniels and Katelyn Knight defensively as Auto Credit Bemus Point I took care of Jenn's Lake Service Bemus Point II, 10-4, in Majors action.

Maddie Russo starred offensively and Allyssa Weaver on defense in the loss.

Stuart Tool & Die from Falconer outslugged the Tri-James Services from Southwestern II, 22-12.

Rachel Baglia was the defensive standout and Alison Warner on offense for the winners.

Megan Seeley was chosen as the offensive standout and Kate Gunnell as the defensive stickout for Tri-James.

CHURCH SOFTBALL LEAGUE

United Churches WNY/Geraci & Co. Accountants defeated Ellery Baptist, 20-10, and won a forfeit from Gloria Dei Lutheran.

Winning pitcher John Geraci III had a home run and a triple and Garrett Moller homered, doubled and singled.

Zach Leone and Dan Leake contributed four hits, Mike Koresko, Rick Hammond and Justin Overbeck three each in the win.

VALLEY LEAGUE

The Gerry Jammers defeated South Dayton, 14-7, in the opening round of the Valley League Tournament.

For Gerry, winning pitcher Landon Mower, Dusty Johnson and Carter Sisson had two hits each while Nathan Jones delivered a triple, and Kolton Gibbons had a hit. All three players scored three runs.
