JAMESTOWN POLICE

Alicia Main, 25, of Jamestown was charged with reckless driving, speed in zone, unregistered motor vehicle and operating a car without insurance and Jean Melendez, 22, of Jamestown was charged with reckless driving and speed in zone at 3:49 p.m. Wednesday. According to a police report, Main was observed driving her Saturn Ion traveling at 75 mph in a 30-mph zone and Jean Melendez was traveling 66 mph in the same area. Both subjects will be in court on a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE

Melody E. Lebowitz, 23, of Jamestown was charged with false impersonation on Wednesday. According to a police report, when she was questioned by a Town of Ellicott Police officer she produced false information as to who she was. When her identity was confirmed she was taken into custody and reprimanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA - John Zappella, 49, of Westfield was charged with speed in zone, possession of marijuana and open container in a motor vehicle at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. He was issued appearance tickets for the charges and will be in court on a later date.

STOCKTON - Alyssa M. Schneider, 26, of Cassadaga was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while ability impaired by drugs and unsafe lane change at 7:28 p.m. Wednesday. According to a police report, Schneider was operating an SUV on Stockton Hartfield Road in the town of Stockton and when she went to adjust her radio, the vehicle left the road, entered a ditch and struck a culvert at a driveway. She sustained no injuries and refused any medical treatment. Her behavior was indicative that she was on something and upon further investigation she was found in possession of a controlled substance pill that she didn't have a prescription for. She was released with tickets to appear in court on a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

CONEWANGO - Daniel D. Visker, 26, of Randolph was charged with third-degree assault at 9 p.m. on May 26. The charges stem from a domestic incident he had with his girlfriend. He was arraigned and released to appear back in court on a later date.

STEAMBURG - Travis J. Elliott, 31, of Steamburg was charged with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child at 1:30 a.m. on May 27. According to a police report, it is alleged that Elliott physically assaulted his girlfriend causing her injuries while in the presence of small children. He was arraigned and released to appear back in court on a later date.

ALLEGANY - Jessica L. Danielson, 35, of Bradford, Pa. was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, felony driving while intoxicated per se and felony aggravated driving while intoxicated at 12:18 a.m. Wednesday. According to a police report, deputies stopped Danielson after receiving a complaint that she was repeatedly going through the drive through at the Burger King in Allegany. The subsequent investigation revealed that she was intoxicated. She was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

NORTH HARMONY - Daniel C. Oakes, 43, of Ellington was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday. According to a police report, Oakes was issued an appearance ticket for the charge and will be in court on a later date.

CARROLL - Alexia G. Anderson, 17, of Pine Bluff was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny at 10:08 p.m. Wednesday.

PORTLAND - James W. Lewellyn, 32, of Perrysburg was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment at 5 p.m. Saturday. According to a police report, Lewellyn is currently being held and will be in court on a later date.

SHERIDAN - Christopher S. Sleeper, 20, of Portland was charged with having a controlled substance in a non-original container, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana at 2:45 a.m. Thursday. According to a police report, Sleeper was issued appearance tickets for the charges and will be in court on a later date.
