Mt. Sinai-Mecca Chapter No. 132 Order of the Eastern Star recently hosted a meeting which honored Master Masons and veterans.
The matron Helen Patti welcomed all who attended the event. The Master Masons were honored with special words and a gift from the matron.
Peter Carlo, a well-known local veteran, was in attendance and presented the Masons a new flag to be flown at the Masonic Center. This flag had been flown over the nation's Capitol building.

Also in attendance were representatives from the Blue Star Mothers New York Chapter 4.
The matron presented the organization a check to assist in the projects they do for the men and women overseas.
The entire group of those in attendance took part as the flag was raised in front of the Baker Street Masonic Temple and followed with the singing of "God Bless America."
