Salvatore "Sam" Colletti, 46, of 41 Sanford Dr., Jamestown, died at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday (June 5, 2012), at his residence.
He was born in Sciffusa, Switzerland, on May 10, 1966, the son of the late Antonino Colletti, who died on June 5, 2011, and Giovanna Picardo Colletti of Jamestown.
Sam was the owner and operator of JCC Taxi for more than 20 years and was the former owner of Sammy's Pit Stop. He had also managed the House of Pizza.

He loved all sports, espe-cially the New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills. He was an automobile enthusiast. He also en-joyed spending time with his family and many friends. He was a very com-passionate and loving per-son.
Besides his mother, he is survived by an uncle, Char-lie Russo, Jamestown; two aunts: Dina and Josephine Colletti; and several cousins: Salvatore and Syl-vana Colletti, Salvatore Russo, Alda Brown and Mary Jo McSkimming, all of Jamestown, Bernardo Russo, Stafford, Va., and Marco Russo, Alexandria, Va.
He was preceded in death by his father; two uncles: Ralph and Gaetano Collet-ti; two aunts: Concetta Russo and Rosalia Di-Chiara; his grandfather, Salvatore Colletti; and his grandmother, Salvatrice Sciabbarrosa Colletti.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor, will be the cele-brant.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home And Cremation Services where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 5:30 p.m.
