Eppehimer Open Set For Saturday

June 5, 2012
The Post-Journal

The 21st annual Eppehimer Open Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, will be held Saturday at Woodcrest Golf Course.

As a special feature of the event, an Hawaiian vacation will be awarded for a hole-in-one during the event.

Registration begins at noon the day of the tournament and a shotgun start will follow at 1 p.m.

The cost to enter is $60 per person, which includes golf, a cart, lunch, on-course beverages, a chicken dinner and prizes. A special price of $30 is being offered to any pastors, ministers, priests or other members of the clergy who participate in the event. Openings are still available for individuals and teams, as well as any businesses wishing to make a donation.

The tournament format is a four-person scramble with prizes awarded for both men and women. In addition to a hole-in-one prize, other prizes will be awarded for men's and women's longest drives, closest to the pin and closest to the line.

Eric Liddle will offer a blessing and short message during the dinner.

All proceeds from the tournament will be used to support youth ministries for the CMA Church, which will include, but not be limited to district youth camping at the Delta Lake Family Camp.

For more information on entering the tournament or becoming a sponsor, contact Bill Farr at 483-2732, Steve Swanson at 720-8361 or the CMA Church at 488-3015. Information may also be obtained at www.jamestowncmachurch.org.
