The Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Emergency Food Cupboard, 825 Forest Ave., Jamestown, will close, as will the church office, for the July 4 holiday.
The food cupboard will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 6.
The food cupboard will also close the week of July 9 through July 13. That week four area Lutheran churches - First Lutheran, Immanuel, Bethel and Holy Trinity - will hold a combined vacation Bible school at Holy Trinity with many children learning and playing at church and outside in the parking lot.
The Holy Trinity Emergency Food Cupboard encourages those in need of food to come to the food cupboard between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays July 18, 20, 25, or 27 to obtain a three-day emergency supply of food for the month of July.
Vacation Bible school is open to all children ages 3 through sixth grade. For more information, call the church office at 488-4235 Tuesdays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m The theme for this session is "Sky - Where Everything is Possible with God." Vacation Bible school hours are 9 a.m. to noon July 9-13.
