Ellen Louise LeBaron passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the Aurora House (a hospice home) in Spencerport, N.Y., after a four-month battle with brain cancer.
She was born Oct. 7, 1942, near Gerry, N.Y., to the late Charles and Dorothy(Avery) Fessenden.
Ellen graduated from Cassadaga Valley Central School in 1960, and remained in the area where she worked several different jobs, finally retiring after spending the past 20 years as a pharmacy tech. She also assisted with the Noah's Ark Grandparents Program at Falconer United Methodist Church, where she attended.

She will be remembered as a person who enjoyed puzzles and loved people.
She is survived by her daughter, Roberta LeBaron who teaches in New York City; son, Randy (Sheryl) LeBaron, who pastors the Albion Free Methodist Church; brother, James (Inge) Fessenden and sister, Charlene Cloud, both from New Mexico; as well as six grandchildren; and many others who called her grandma, mom and friend.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Donald Fessenden; and granddaughter, Giovanna Martin.
Ellen had chosen to be cremated, but there will be a time of visitation with the family this Sunday, June 3, 2012, at 2 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m., both will be at the Gerry Free Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeff Bellinger presiding.
