‘‘The community has been asking for it. This area is booming,’’ he said. ‘‘I enjoy the restaurant business. I’ve been in the restaurant business for over 20 years, and I look forward to getting started.’’
VanNess said he hopes to have the restaurant opened by the Fourth of July holiday. He said once he receives his liquor license from the state, he will open the restaurant.
Prior to the board approving the special use permit there was a public hearing where two people spoke. VanNess thanked the board for their consideration for the special use permit and Celoron resident Gerald Ray said he likes the idea for a restaurant in the community once again.
