Outdoor Club To Kayak Saturday

CASSADAGA - On Saturday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will kayak on Cassadaga Lake, which is three interconnected lakes, in the village of Cassadaga. Participants will meet at the Jamestown Park & Ride parking lot, located at the intersection of North Main Street and Interstate 86, at 10 a.m. or at the boat launch at the northern end of Lower Lake near the entrance to Lily Dale at 10:30 a.m. For more information, call Kathy Moore at 814-723-8985. Anyone attending should bring a bag lunch.

Bike Riding Set For Sunday

On Sunday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride bikes in Oil Creek State Park. Participants will meet at Betts Field in Warren at 1:30 p.m. or at Petroleum Center at the southern end of the park at 2:30 p.m. The ride will go north out of the park to the Blue Canoe Restaurant in Titusville for dinner then return to the starting point. Free Rabies Clinic Scheduled

ASHVILLE - The Chautauqua County Department of Health announces a free rabies vaccination clinic to be held on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Ashville Fire District Building in Stow. The clinic is sponsored by the Town of Harmony with Dr. Timothy Rice as the attending veterinarian. Vaccinations will be provided free of charge to all dogs, cats and domesticated ferrets three months of age and older. Cake Walk Fundraiser Set

ELLINGTON - The Farman Free Library, Ellington, will hold a cake walk fundraiser at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the library. Giveaway tickets are 25 cents each for a homemade cake. The public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call the library at 287-2945.

Panama School Board To Meet

PANAMA - The Panama Central School Board of Education will hold its scheduled board meeting on Monday at 7 p.m. in the board room. The meeting is open to the public.

Five Local Choirs To Sing Sunday

Members of five local church choirs will perform the cantata Sanctuary at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Fluvanna Community Church. The cantata features solos, trios, a quartet and a video soundtrack. There is no charge to attend.

Salamanca Board To Meet Tuesday

SALAMANCA - The Salamanca Central School board will hold a special meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Seneca Nation of Indian Allegany Community Center in the multi-purpose room. The meeting will move into executive session.

Leon Assessment Board To Meet

LEON - The Leon Board of Assessment Review will meet on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Only grievances that were filed on or prior to May 30 can be heard.
