THE VILLAGES, Fla. - Alice "Sissy" Cooper Laflamme of The Villages, Fla., passed away Friday (May 25, 2012), at home peacefully following a five-year battle with progressive supranuclear palsy.
She was born March 3, 1936, in Randolph, N.Y., the daughter of the late Donald H. and Dorothea Bowen Cooper.
Sissy was a 1954 graduate of Randolph Central School, and lived in Jamestown until moving to Florida in 1987. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a waitress for 25 years in both California and New York.

She enjoyed traveling, playing slots, golf and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a Protestant by faith, and was a member of the Jamestown American Legion Auxiliary Unit 347.
Sissy is survived by her husband, Bob Laflamme of The Villages, Fla.; brother, Sonny Cooper and his wife, Mary Lou, of Randolph; son, Duane Walker and his wife, Lori, of San Bernardino, Calif., and their children: Patrick Walker and Starr Moore; daughter, Stephanie Walker of Meadview, Ariz., and her son Cody Walker.
She was preceded by her parents; and a brother, Larry Cooper.
Visitation will not be observed. Inurnment will be in the Randolph Cemetery.
