Corey Wefing was the only area athlete in the boys competition at the CCAA Championship meet to win two events as he placed first on Friday in the 3,200 (9:51.63) and then won the 1,600 (4:31.61) on Saturday. Last Tuesday, Wefing was a double winner against Franklinville when he placed first in the high jump (5-2) and the 1,600 (4:43.9).
