More than 8,600 pounds of food was collected recently as part of the annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive. The National Association of Letter Carriers and the U.S. Postal Service collected non-perishable food items along their postal routes to help families in need. It is the 20th year local mail carriers participated in Stamp Out Hunger, with all donations given to the Joint Neighborhood Project, Salvation Army and the St. Susan Center.
