Thule Lodge To Host Fish Dinner
BEMUS POINT - The Thule Lodge, 4123 Pancake Hill Road, will hold its monthly Friday night dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. Fish dinners will be served, and a second choice is available. A Swedish dinner of Korv and rotmus will be an alternative. The Thule Lodge serves to preserve the Swedish heritage through events and activities. The public is welcome to attend the dinner.
Strawberry Festival?Is June 15
STOCKTON - The Stockton Community Church will hold its annual strawberry social featuring strawberry shortcake, ice cream and tarts, beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, June 15. Proceeds from this event will benefit Pastor and Mickey Hamilton to help with their recent medical expenses. ''Mountain Railroad'' will provide live music.
Busti Concerts Begin July 7
BUSTI - The 2012 ''Concerts at the Gazebo'' schedule has been released by the Busti-Hamlet Development Group. The concerts will start at 7 p.m. each Saturday, with the first concert on July 7. The first band will be John Cross and the Babalu Band. They will be followed by the Busti Church of God on July 14; Joint Effort on July 21; Wind River, a bluegrass band, on July 28; the Red Letter Blues Band on Aug. 4; Country Roads on Aug. 11; Old Dawg Bluegrass on Aug. 18; and the Rustic Ramblers on Aug. 25. Prostate Cancer Benefit Is June 10
WNY Urology Associates and Cancer Care of WNY will host Putt Putt for Prostate Cancer from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at the Lakewood Golf Center, 4341 W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood. There will be door prizes, a Chinese auction, face painting, food, 50-50 giveaway and a bounce house for children. The benefit event will raise money for the Dash For Dad and Zero: The Project To End Prostate Cancer.
