JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Andre D. Vicks, 35, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt following a domestic dispute at 5 Lamont St. in the city at 2:12 a.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, it was found that Vicks had gotten into an altercation with a person in front of the residence. Further investigation revealed that there was an order or protection issued by Jamestown City Court for Vicks to stay away from the victim. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held awaiting arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

HANOVER - Michael J. Teti, 22, of Buffalo was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at Sunset Bay on Allegany Road in Hanover. Deputies were waived down by a concerned citizen who said five individuals were leaving Town Beach arguing about drugs. Deputies stopped the individuals and after further investigation it was found that Teti was in possession of marijuana. He will appear in Town of Hanover Court at a later date.
