Randolph won three events and Falconer two in the first day of the annual Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Track & Field Championships at Southwestern Central School.
Zachary Jackson, Brena McDonald and Kassandra Erdmann captured events for Randolph and Shannon Murphy and Brandon DePietro for Falconer.
Jackson took the 800 for the boys with a 2:01.14 followed by Taylor Nielson of Gowanda at 2:02.60 and Hunter Lienhart of Randolph at 2:03.05.

McDonald took the pole vault for the girls with a leap of 9-feet-7 followed by Brigitte Boettcher of Fredonia at 8-6 and Emily Harford of Silver Creek also at 8-6.
Erdmann became the third Randolph victor with a throw of 33-11 in the shot put for the girls with Jennie Thies of Southwestern the runnerup at 31-9 and Mary Westman of Cattaraugus-Little Valley third at 28-9.
Murphy won the girls 800 with a time of 2:21.74 followed by Cortnie Vaughn of Allegany-Limestone at 2:22.80 and Megan Marsh of Maple Grove at 2:22.82.
DePietro claimed the high jump for the Falconer boys with a height of 6-2. Trevin Barber of A-L was also tied for first at 6-2, but DePietro won on fewest misses.
Lucas Brawdy of Gowanda tied for third with Trey North of Westfield with 5-8.
Thies took the triple jump for the Southwestern girls with a 35-6. Kelly Hustak of Olean placed second with a 32-10 and Mackenzie Wright of Falconer was third with 32-9.
In the, 3,200, Corey Wefing of Maple Grove was first for the boys with a 9:51.63 followed by Alex Marra of Olean with 10:18.93 and teammate John Panus with 10:21.99.
Lauren Reyda of Fredonia led the girls in the 3,000 with a 10:37.17. Hope Pietrocarlo was second for Maple Grove with a clocking of 11:13.02 and Michaela Tramuta of Fredonia was third with a 11:20.87.
In the boys long jump, Maleke Fuentes of Olean was first with a 20' with Kisun Peters of Salamanca second at 19-9 and Jeremy Parkhurst of Randolph third with 19-2.
