Jason Patrick Himes, 41, of 208 Terrace St., Warren, Pa., passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on early Thursday morning, May 24, 2012, at his residence.
Jason was born May 15, 1971, in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of the late W. Allen Himes, who passed on April 22, 2011, and Linnea Hurd Himes of Jamestown. Jason was raised in Jamestown and was a 1989 graduate of Jamestown High School, and attended Jamestown Community College. Jason was employed by the Unit-ed Refining Company for more than 20 years, and was currently the plant manager of operations.
Jason enjoyed his work, he loved to play golf, and he enjoyed photography. Above all, he enjoyed his family. He will be long remembered for his smile that would light up a room, and for being a wonderful husband, son, father and a friend to many. Jason had a great sense of humor, was witty, and always said he had "more kids than Jerry Lewis."
In addition to his mother, Jason is survived by his wife, Deidra D. Wiles Himes, whom he married on July 4, 2009; a son, Mac Himes, Russell, Pa.; a brother, Todd Himes and his wife Linda, Rockwell, N.C.; his step-children, De-van and Lauren Christy of Warren, Pa., and Kylie, Al-lix and Lincoln Munch of Russell, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Grace United Metho-dist Church, 501 Pennsyl-vania Ave. E., Warren, PA 16365, on Saturday, May 26, from 10 a.m. until noon, at which time a funeral ser-vice will be held there with the Rev. Kevin Haley, pas-tor, and Shawn Castro co -officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Chautauqua Region Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O. Box 714, Jamestown, NY 14702-0714.
