JAMESTOWN POLICE
Ryan Inserra, 32, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree tampering with a witness, first-degree criminal contempt and reckless driving at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday. According to a police report, officers responded to an address on Chapin Street to serve a warrant on Inserra when they observed him driving his vehicle onto Chapin Street. He then quickly turned the vehicle around and fled the area in his vehicle. Officers did pursue Inserra and he was taken into custody after his vehicle was stopped on Allen Street. He was arraigned and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
MACHIAS - Dustin Dashnaw, 29, of Machias, was charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree identity theft, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday. According to a police report, these charges are in connection to burglary complaints that occurred in 2010, 2011 and 2012. He was arraigned and held in lieu of $5,000 bail. He will be back in court at a later date.
