Spaghetti Dinner Set For Tuesday
MAYVILLE - St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, 24 E. Chautauqua St., Mayville, will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m., or until sold out, Tuesday, June 5, to benefit 'Help The Helpless,' which supports St. Mary's School For The Handicapped in India. Proceeds will directly benefit the children who attend the school. The dinner will be held in the church hall. Take-out orders will be available. The cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children and free for children ages 2 and under.
YMCA To Host Ballroom Dance
The Jamestown YMCA will be offering a special four-week summer session of Ballroom Dance beginning June 4. Advance registration is required by June 2. Classes will be held on Mondays from 7 to 8 p.m. and participants will be given the opportunity to voice their choice for dances to be covered during the session. Loose comfortable clothing and smooth-soled shoes are recommended attire for ballroom dance. Partners are not mandatory. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Celoron Plans Public Hearing
The Celoron Village Board will hold a public hearing at 6:55 p.m. and a special meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 31, on a proposal to reopen the former Mariner's Pier restaurant as a new establishment called Harbor Grill.

RANDOLPH - The Randolph Central School Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the first-floor conference room of the high school building to interview high school principal candidates.
Pine Valley Plans Pre-K Roundup
SOUTH DAYTON - Pine Valley Central School will host its universal pre-kindergarten roundup for children entering pre-kindergarten in the fall on Thursday, June 7. Notices have been sent to parents and children. Parents of children who will be 4 years of age on or before Dec. 1, 2012, and have not received notification should call Mrs. Nichols at the Pine Valley Elementary School office at 988-3291, ext. 3306.
Doctor Sets Workshop
Dr. Aaron M. Smith, N.D., will host free a Natural Healing for Osteoporosis workshop today from 7 to 8 p.m. in the conference room at Prendergast Library, 509 Cherry St., Jamestown.
Boosters Club To Hold Fundraiser
SHERMAN - The Sherman High School Music Boosters Club will host "A Musical Night at the Museum" Monday, June 4, at the Yorker Museum Gazebo on Park Street in Sherman. Admission is free. There will be a picnic dinner for purchase starting at 5 p.m., a Chinese auction of items donated by local merchants and a 50/50 giveaway. Anyone attending should bring a lawn chair. The entertainment starts at 5:30 p.m. In case of rain, the event will be held at the Sherman Central School cafeteria. Proceeds will help pay for the music department's trip to Washington, D.C., where students will perform on the steps of the Lincoln Monument.
