To the Readers' Forum:
This great (once greater, with potential yet to exceed previous greatness) nation of ours is slipping very rapidly away. Sadly, it is occurring right before our eyes with seemingly no one concerned and no one doing anything to stop this blatantly obvious erosion.
Our Congress is long out of control; self-serving rascals with seeming little concern for the good of the people. Apparently these reckless ones also have a pitiful lack of concern for their children and grandchildren; as they will be leaving them a shambled skeleton of a once free and great country.
Their miserable lack of loyalty to what has been freely given them by real Americans who have sacrificed so much, only reflects the truly despicable condition of their characters. No better than these are the voters who foolishly continue to reinstate the worthless at the expense of the worthy. With a 13 percent approval rating for our so-called Congress, ignorant voters continue to vote them back into office at an astounding rate of 88-95 percent for the Senate and the House respectively. Somebody's been watching way too much TV! (Helpful hint: the rubbish on TV is not reality)
It is clearly time to man-up and vote for the true America; in defense against the socialism which D.C. is currently attempting to force upon us. In the '50s and '60s socialism/communism (same thing) were curse words. The difference between communism and socialism is that communism takes over a people using a military force whereas socialism takes over by the executive order and the ignorant vote. Both share the same objective: making servants of the populous. This November may be the last chance America has for survival. Do your part!
