LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

LAKEWOOD - Jessica M. Vangiesen, 30, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny at 8:32 p.m. Sunday. According to a police report, Vangiesen was caught by Wal-Mart employees taking items worth $46.68 from the store. She will be in court later.

ELLICOTT POLICE

Peter D. Rug, 70, of Cheektowaga was charged with making an illegal turn and driving while intoxicated at 11:31 p.m. Friday. According to a police report, Rug was pulled over for making an illegal left turn. He will be in court later.

Elizabeth A. White, 46, of Jamestown was charged with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated, felony driving while intoxicated and first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation at 1:44 a.m. Saturday. According to a police report, White was seen driving in the oncoming lane of traffic and was pulled over. She will be in court later.

SALAMANCA POLICE

SALAMANCA - Jeremy M. Foster, 22, of Salamanca was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, trespassing and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child at 4:28 p.m. Saturday. According to a police report, Foster was drunk at a city residence and then was involved in a domestic incident. He was charged and turned over to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's deputies for an outstanding bench warrant with no bail.

SALAMANCA - Frederick A. Lewis, 55, of Salamanca was charged with theft of services at 5:35 p.m. Friday. According to a police report, Lewis was allegedly putting his trash in and around a dumpster at the Rite Aid in Salamanca. He will be in court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPT.

KENNEDY - Andrew C. Woodin, 31, of Ellington was charged with second-degree harassment and second-degree criminal trespassing at 11:58 p.m. Sunday. According to a police report, Woodin allegedly entered a residence without permission and refused to leave before threatening the home's occupants. He was arraigned and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 property bail. He will be in court later.

MAYVILLE - Thomas R. Putney, 47, of Jamestown was taken into custody for violation of probation on Sunday. He was wanted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office and was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail. He will be in court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

COLLINS - Omar S. Nelson, 31, of Collins was charged with second-degree possession of contraband in prison and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday. He will be in court later.

SHERMAN - Julie A. Waite, 42, of Sherman was charged with second-degree harassment on April 2. She will be in court later.

POLAND - Hector V. Rodriguez, 37, of Kennedy was charged with second-degree harassment at 8 p.m. on May 9. He will be in court later.

SOUTHERN TIER REGIONAL DRUG TASK FORCE

DUNKIRK - Conrad K. Thomas, 26, of Dunkirk was taken into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. According to Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force agents, Thomas sold crack cocaine to task force agents in the city of Dunkirk as part of their investigation. He was taken to the Dunkirk City Jail until he can be arraigned. Additional charges are pending.
