Panama Rolls To Victory Over Clymer

PANAMA - Everything went Panama's way on Monday as the Panthers (3-7, 4-7) put on a solid performance in a 15-2 rout of Clymer (4-5, 4-6) in Division 3 baseball.

Panama had two big innings, scoring four runs in the first and six runs on five hits in the fifth.

Kyle McIntyre went the distance for Panama to get the win, striking out seven while giving up seven hits and two runs with no walks. Kelvin Eddy delivered two doubles and two singles with two runs scored and 3 RBIs, McIntyre scored three times with two stolen bases and Alec Blose added a double and a single, scored four times with three stolen bases and two RBIs

For the Pirates, Dan Lictus stroked a double and a single, Jake Wiggers connected for a triple and a single while Austin Cramer, got the loss, giving up four hits with two walks and a strikeout.

T-BIRDS TOP HORNETS

MAYVILLE - Nate Gleason earned the victory on the mound with six strikeouts for Chautauqua Lake as the Thunderbirds (4-7, 6-8) rolled to an 11-2 win over Forestville (1-10, 3-13).

Forestville took an early lead in the top of the first, but Chautauqua Lake bounced right back as Jed Walsh delivered an RBI triple, Gleason added an RBI single and Ian Clute came through with a sacrifice fly to take the lead.

Gleason also had a double and single, Walsh connected for two triples and two RBI and Kyle Mayer and Tyler Furlow contributed three hits each.

For the Hornets, Cody Jackson two hits and Tyler Shear took the loss with one strikeout.
