AARP Driving Class Is Thursday
An AARP Safe Driving Class, open to any licensed driver, will be held Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Lutheran Campus. The class will take place at the Juliet Rosch Activity Center, located at 200 Aldren Ave. The cost is $17 for AARP members and $19 for non-members. Primary drivers will be eligible for an insurance discount good for three years. Taking the class can also be used to remove up to four "points" on your license for traffic violations. Those attending should bring a pen and driver's license, and attend the entire day, with a break for lunch. AARP members should bring their membership card. Heritage Club To Host Dinner
American Scandinavian Heritage Club members and guests will meet for dinner at 6:15 p.m. on Friday in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Forest Avenue, Jamestown, to celebrate Norwegian Constitution Day. A program will be presented by a brass quartet. Reservations are required; contact Ken Killburn at 487-2096.
Square Dance Club To Meet
Members of the former Cha-Tau-Qua Square Dance Club will meet at noon Thursday in Friendly's restaurant. Those interested in attending should contact Liz McIntyre at 664-2873.
School To Host Festival Tuesday
FALCONER - Falconer Central School will hold its annual Arts and Academic Festival from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The festival showcases work accomplished by Falconer middle and high school students and will include displays in the school gym. The Jazz Band will also perform.
JHS Class of '63 To Meet Thursday

Historical Society To Meet Thursday
The Kiantone Historical Society will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. in the community building on Peck-Settlement Road. The featured speaker is Michelle Henry, Chautauqua County historian, who will talk about the county's role in the War of 1812. Members are encouraged to attend and the public is welcome.
Quilting Lectures Set For Thursday
The Westfield Quilters' Guild and Northern Chautauqua Quilting Companions will host Sally Schneider of Albuquerque, N.M., an international quilt teacher and author, for two lectures and four workshops. Mrs. Schneider will give a lecture titled "Borders-The Built-In-Way" at the Westfield Quilters' Guild meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the First United Methodist Church, 101 E. Main St., Westfield. There will be a charge of $5 for non-guild members. The Northern Chautauqua Quilting Companions lecture is titled "Sensational Settings" and will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, in the Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church, 39 Matteson St., Fredonia.
