Daniel and Becky Hallberg of Frewsburg, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Jo, to Levi Whippo, the son of Paul and Michelle Whippo of Kiantone, N.Y.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Frewsburg Central school and received her bachelor's degree from Ursuline College and is pursuing a master's degree in counseling at St. Bonaventure. She is employed by Beacon Light Behavioral Health Systems and Southern Tier T-shirts and Graphics. Her fiance is a 2002 graduate of Frewsburg Central School and is the service manager for Hartley Buick.
An Aug. 18, 2012, wedding is planned.
